This policy explains what information Yojana Disha collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose, and we try to name the actual tools we use rather than hide behind vague wording.
Who we are
Yojana Disha is an independent guide website about MGNREGA and related rural schemes. Reach us through the contact page. We are not a government body, and we have no connection to the Ministry of Rural Development or any state government.
What you never have to give us
You do not need an account to read anything here. We never ask for your job card number, Aadhaar, bank details or any document, and there is no form on this site that collects them. If a page ever appears to ask you for those, it is not us. Everything our tools calculate happens inside your own browser and is not sent to us.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides people find useful and where they get stuck. It records things like which pages were opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device was used. We use this in aggregate. We do not try to identify individual readers, and we do not sell any of it.
Cookies and consent
When you first visit, you will see a consent banner. Until you accept, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied through Google Consent Mode, so those cookies are not used. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the name yd_consent so you are not asked again on every page. We also store your light or dark theme preference the same way. Neither of those is shared with anyone.
Advertising
We may display ads through third-party networks, including Google AdSense, to cover hosting and research costs. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads to you. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can review how Google uses data on its partner sites page.
Advertising never decides what we write. No advertiser gets to choose which guides exist, what they say, or what we leave out, as set out in our editorial policy.
Links to other sites
We link to official government portals such as nrega.dord.gov.in so you can do the actual work there. Once you follow a link away from this site, that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your choices
- Decline the consent banner, and analytics and ad storage stay off.
- Block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser at any time.
- Opt out of personalised ads through Google's Ads Settings.
- Read every guide on this site either way. Nothing here is gated.
Children
This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we update this policy we will change the date above. See also our disclaimer and terms. If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact page and we will explain it.
