By using Yojana Disha you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short and written in plain language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

What this site is

An independent guide to MGNREGA and related rural schemes. It explains how to use official services. It is not a government website, and it is not a substitute for your gram panchayat or the official portal. See the disclaimer for the full position.

Using our content

Read it, use it, and share it with anyone it might help. You are welcome to send a link to a guide to a neighbour, a worker, a WhatsApp group or a panchayat office. What you may not do is republish our guides as your own work or copy large parts of the site onto another one. If you want to reference something, link to the page instead. See the DMCA and copyright page.

Accuracy and change

We try hard to be accurate and explain how in our fact-check policy, but information is provided as is, without warranty. Government rules, wage rates and portal addresses change. Anything that affects your money should be confirmed on nrega.dord.gov.in before you act on it.

Our tools

The calculator and letter generator are aids, not applications. They run in your browser, submit nothing to any department, and change no official record. A figure produced by our calculator is an estimate, and actual wages often depend on measured work rather than attendance alone.

Limits of our responsibility

We are not liable for loss that results from relying on information here. Your use of any official service is governed by the government's own terms, not ours. We are also not responsible for other websites we link to.

No fees and no agents

We never charge you for anything, and we are not an agent or middleman for any government service. Nobody is authorised to charge money in our name. If someone does, that is not us, and you can complain on the MGNREGA helpline 1800-111-555.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version always applies and the date above shows when it last changed. Questions go to the contact page.
