What PMAY-G is
PMAY-G stands for Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin, the rural part of the national housing mission. It replaced the older Indira Awaas Yojana in 2016. The aim is simple: help rural families who live in kutcha or unsafe houses move into a solid, permanent home.

The 2024 expansion
In 2024 the government approved a large number of additional houses to be built over the following years, which is why fresh surveys and updated lists have been appearing. If you were left out earlier, the updated survey is your chance to be considered.
