How to apply for a NREGA job card (online and offline)

कोई भी ग्रामीण adult NREGA Job Card के लिए apply कर सकता है, और यह बिल्कुल free है। आप Gram Panchayat office पर या online apply कर सकते हैं। Panchayat को valid application के 15 दिन के अंदर card जारी करना होता है।
Aadhaar, दो photo और bank passbook copy के साथ Gram Panchayat office पर simple application दें, या UMANG app से online apply करें। Card free में 15 working days के अंदर मिलता है।
Who can apply
Any adult member of a rural household who is willing to do unskilled manual work can apply. There is no income test. One card covers the whole family, and all adult members can be added to it.
Documents you need
- Aadhaar card of the applicants.
- Two passport-size photos.
- A copy of your bank or post office passbook.
- Proof of residence in the village, if asked.
Offline application at the panchayat
- Visit your gram panchayat office and ask for the free job card application form.
- Fill in the household details and attach your documents.
- Submit the form to the gram rozgar sahayak or panchayat secretary.
- Collect the acknowledgement slip. Keep it safe.
- The card should be issued within 15 working days.
Online application
Many states accept applications through the UMANG app and government portals. Open the UMANG app, choose the MGNREGA service, fill in the household details, upload your documents and submit. You get an acknowledgement number to track the request.
Applying is 100 percent free. No agent, middleman or office can charge you for a job card. If someone asks for money, report it on the grievance portal.
