NREGA job card deleted: why it happens and how to get it back

कई बार लोग अपनी Gram Panchayat की Job Card List खोलते हैं और नाम गायब मिलता है। ज़्यादातर मामलों में यह galti या एक तय कारण से होता है, और इसे ठीक भी किया जा सकता है। पहले कारण समझें, फिर सही जगह शिकायत करें।

Why a job card gets deleted
MGNREGA runs a regular verification of job cards, and cards are removed for specific reasons. Knowing the reason tells you whether it was correct or a mistake you can fix.
- The card was a duplicate of another card for the same household.
- The household was found to be fake or not eligible during verification.
- The family permanently moved out of the gram panchayat.
- A request was made to delete the card, sometimes wrongly.
- Aadhaar or details did not match during seeding and the card was marked invalid.
Check the deletion reason
- Open the official MGNREGA reports and choose your state, district, block and gram panchayat.
- Open the report that lists deleted or rejected job cards.
- Find your household and read the reason recorded against it.
- Note the card number and the reason before you go to the office.
A deletion marked as duplicate or wrong verification can usually be reviewed. Take the recorded reason and your old card number to the gram panchayat first.
How to recover or re-register
- Visit your Gram Panchayat office and show the deletion reason and your old job card number.
- If the deletion was wrong, ask for a re-verification request to be raised with the Programme Officer.
- If the household genuinely needs a fresh card, apply again like a new registration with your documents.
- If the panchayat does not act, file a written complaint with the Programme Officer or on the grievance helpline.
