1 जुलाई 2026 से MGNREGA की जगह VB-G RAM G Act लागू हो गया। सबसे बड़ा सवाल: क्या पुराना job card अब भी चलेगा? छोटा जवाब: हां — transition के दौरान पुराना card valid है।
हां, आपका पुराना NREGA job card transition period में valid है। काम मांगने, हाज़िरी और payment के लिए वही card चलेगा। नया employment guarantee card बनने पर पुराना record उसमें transfer होगा — अलग आवेदन की ज़रूरत नहीं।
पुराना card कब तक चलेगा
The VB-G RAM G Act repealed MGNREGA from 1 July 2026 but includes transition provisions: existing job cards, registrations and pending payments continue under the new scheme until new cards are issued. You do not lose your registration, your work history, or any wages due.

नया card कैसे मिलेगा
New employment guarantee cards will be issued gradually through gram panchayats. When your panchayat begins the process, your existing details move to the new card. There is no fee, no agent and no separate online application. Anyone charging money for a new card is running a scam — card issue is free at the panchayat.
